Welcome to Shade Tree! I have been practicing therapy since 2009 and am invested in the training of student and early career therapists. Simply put, psychotherapy is great. Harmonizing relational connection and scientific backing to lessen suffering is one of humankind’s greatest, unfolding and developing works.

Hi, I’m Michael. I have been a therapist for over ten years now and currently reside in Greensboro, NC, but have lived in many regions of the US, including Washington state, Michigan, Colorado, and Indiana. I have worked with clients of all ages from a variety of backgrounds.
Much of my clinical experience so far comes from working in community based settings, psychiatric hospitals and spiritual settings. Though I have worked with children and families, my current focus is teenagers, adults, couples, and parents.
